Paris Fashion Week SS 2013....Tamu

The gorgeous Tamu, before A Show, Paris, October 2012.

Recreate Tamu's look (kind of):

Easy-peasy shirt/tunic dress (layer with a sweater or cardi like Tamu has for spring/early summer and wear alone for the warmer months): 10 Crosby Derek Lam Seersucker tunic dress, T by Alexander Wang paneled silk shirt dress, Topshop pinstripe placket shirt dress, MM6 Maison Martin Margiela tunic dress, Jenni Kayne sleeveless shirtdress, Mara Hoffman sleeveless shirtdress, Vince shirtdress, Versace printed silk shirt dress or RDM by Rue du Mail poplin tunic dress

Black sweater: Miu Miu sweater, Vince oversized boatneck slub sweater, or ASOS pocket sweater

Statement necklace: J.Crew crystal and resin tile necklace (I think this would look amazing with a white tunic dress and a lightly sunkissed summer skin), Marc by Marc Jacobs Paste and Print necklace, J.Crew crystal color mix necklace, or Adia Kibur blue crystal necklace

Lace-up booties: McQ Alexander McQueen Neon-trimmed lace up booties, Fendi Shagreen panel ankle boot (these aren't lace-up but they have the two-tone thing going on!), McQ Alexander McQueen cutout booties, or ASOS Artful ankle boots

  1. Such a beautiful simple outfit. I really like the way she's layered the dress and jumper together! :)

  3. I love the quiet, and quite humorous, juxtaposition between the often OTT stylings within fashion shows during fashion week, and the often beautifully understated stylings of those watching the shows. Tamu's look is no exception; I really do love the sporty simplicity, and the gentle bursts of blue. Great photos, Vanessa!

    Best Wishes,

  4. @Mica - Simple and beautiful....Tamu is always spot-on with her styling.

@Elmo - ahhh thank you Oh Knowledgable One!!! They are so gorgeous, aren't they......Hope you are well?!

@Tara - I agree. I love looking at the styling on the runway, and then seeing how girls interpret it "in real life" (well, at the fashion weeks at least). And Tamu always looks beautifully pulled together, and polished. It is also something that I can imagine working on lots of different girls (with different shapes and heights) as well.
